Quality pond and lake design produces all of the qualities essential to the perfect trout lake: larger fish, less sediment, optimum temperature, reduced submerged vegetation, clear water, greatly reduced maintenance and a much more natural and beautiful body of water. A sizeable industry is based on maintaining lakes and ponds. The vast majority of the clientele is derived from lakes with less than ideal design and construction, if the ponds and lakes were ever designed at all. We have worked with many "do it yourself" scenarios to build trophy trout environments. One thing we hear over and over is "I wish I would have met you the first time I constructed this lake. You would have saved me so much." They often go on to say "I read all the books." Unless you own a small scientific library, the books barely scratch the surface of the knowledge neccessary to build a trout habitat for any particular site.

WHAT HAVE WE DONE LATELY? We recently completed a small trout pond project in the searing heat of central California.
